A vigil is a period of wakefulness during a time that is normally sleeping hours. It is a watchful period of time dedicated to observation. In this time of paying attention much can be discovered about one’s self. This offers the potential of healing, expanding, lightening, releasing and insight.
During this vigil I will be offering sound through playing the crystal singing bowls throughout the evening to accompany your meditation. Participants are welcome to come and go throughout the evening as needed, however you are also encouraged to stay for the full event. You will be able to move throughout the space, changing your position for meditation, getting food, etc. However, we request you do it quietly so as to not disturb other mediators. Please know this is not intended to be a moving meditation experience. Please bring cushions, pillows and layers to be comfortable for your vigil.
We will have some food set up in the kitchen with some tea and water. Please feel free to bring something to share.
